Senior Camogie team to hold Open Night

Semple Stadium in Thurles will play host to a double-header for the upcoming All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Finals on Saturday August 5 which have now been confirmed (see below).

Wexford finished second to Cork in Group 2 having suffered only one defeat in the group stage. They will face a Dublin side who have impressed this year with two victories under their belt in reaching the Quarter-Finals.

Tipperary finished third in Group 1 after a dramatic victory in their final group game which saw them rise up the table to secure a Quarter-Final berth. They will face a Galway side whose only defeat so far in the campaign came at the hands of the reigning All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.

Both fixtures will be broadcast live on RTÉ and the winners of these ties will progress to the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals on Saturday August 19 where they will face either Cork or Kilkenny who advanced directly to the Semi-Finals having topped their respective groups.

The All-Ireland Championship Finals take place on Sunday September 10t in Croke Park

.This coming Monday the Dublin senior team will be hosting an Open Night for fans to come along and get autographs etc. It will be hosted in DCU at 7pm
