We’ll see where we can improve: Cian O’Sullivan

Mon, 29th August 2016

Dublin defensive lynchpin Cian O'Sullivan says the team will review the evidence from Sunday's game to try iron out any defensive lapses.

The Dublin conceded what the Kilmacud Crokes man referred to as "two sloppy goals" late in the opening half as Dublin quickly surrendered a five-point advantage to trail 2-8 to 0-9 at the break.

“That was a fantastic game out there, a fantastic game to play in and win and I'd say for the spectators as well a fantastic game to watch," said Cian.

“We're glad to come out the right side of it. Trailing by five at half-time, we had a lot of work to do but we kept our composure, we showed some great resilience there in the second-half to crawl back into the lead and finish out the game.

“There was nothing between the two sides, I have to commend Kerry on a fantastic performance. For us it's such a massive relief to be in an All-Ireland final.

“We conceded two sloppy goals in the first-half but we'll look back on the tape and see if we can improve on those little aspects but we're very happy with that win and that performance,” concluded Cian.
