Dublin GAA Juvenile update Monday February 17th

Mon, 17th February 2020

A Rúnaí, a chara,

I attach fixtures for this coming weekend for both CCC1 & CCC2.

CCC2 games are at the earlier time to allow attendence at the double header in Croke Park.

CCC1 commence their hurling programme on Saturday.

I hope to post to the website on Tuesday morning the 2020 Hurling contact details. We are still awaiting information from several clubs but will go with what we have tomorrow morning.

Several individuals have been in contact with us for their names to be included or to receive result texts for football competitions up and running for both committees. For GDPR reasons , Coiste na nÓg has been quite clear in this matter. All information used by juvenile committees ( mobile numbers & email listings) are destroyed / made redundant each year. For the 2020 season we are using only information received from a Club Officer via the appropriate capture file.

Dublin GAA Juvenile are using legitimate interest as the legal basis for the collection of this information
Purpose for collection:to facilitate creation of 2020Juvenile Contacts Directories for both codes. The information gathered will allow interested parties to make contact to facilitate the playing of games by placement on www.dublingaa.ie
Contact details can be removed at any time by emailing Dublin GAA (secretarybng.dublin@gaa.ie)
Replacement of CCC2 Referees.
  • Home mentor to contact the appointed referee by Wednesday night at the latest ( for weekend games)
  • If the referee not available, the mentor to email ccc2refadmin@dublingaa.ie by 9.30am Thursday Morning ( for weekend games)
  • Home Mentor needs to follow the Referee Status of this fixture via https://www.dublingaa.ie/competitions/juvenile
Games this coming weekend:

The blanket call off of games by CCC1 & CCC2 in recent times was due to health & safety grounds around gale force winds and strong gusts.

It is unlikely this will apply this coming weekend but many pitches are likely to be unplayable. The normal regulations per each committee will apply and therfore please make sure your mentors are familiar with them. Can host clubs for Go Games fixtures make sure all portable goals are securely held in place.

Yours in Sport,
Damian
